Donate Food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support. Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in the Trussell network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

• Pasta n Sauce

Where to drop off your food donations

Once you’re ready to donate you can simply take your food to any of our food collection points to drop off your donations. Thanks to the support of local businesses and organisations holding collection points for our foodbank we have a number of drop-off areas around the town. If your group or business would like to hold a collection point for our foodbank we would love to partner with you.

Donations of food can also be dropped off at our food bank warehouse during opening times.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.

Unfortunately, owing to charity legislation, we are unable to allow anyone to collect or fundraise on our behalf through means of neighbourhood door-to-door collections. Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
