Thank you to everyone who arranged Food Collections this summer!
Alongside our regular donations, collections within our community also took place.
Neil Atherton, aka the bus Walker was very busy this summer!
Neil organised a food collection at Widnes Market. Thank you to everyone involved. This was followed by a collection, arranged by Neil in conjunction with Arriva North West, at the Widnes Vikings match against Bradford Bulls.
A big thank you to Jan Swales – a member of Widnes Running Club. Throughout August Jan collected donations for the Foodbank from fellow runners. Jan, pictured on the right was accompanied by some of her fellow runners when she delivered the food to the Warehouse.
Thank you also to the congregation of St. Ambrose Church, who ran a month long collection, resulting in a car full of food being donated to the Foodbank! This weighed in at more than 178Kg!
