During the Coronavirus pandemic we’ve been truly grateful as ever for the support of our local community.
Here are some of the ways the people and organisations of Widnes have come together to tackle food poverty during the pandemic.
Thanks to GMB (TUUC) for their generous donation of £1,500
Local restaurant Desii kindly donated some of their delicious food!
Wellbeing Enterprises thoughtfully donated some wellbeing packs and soft toys for our clients and their children.
British Gas lent a helping hand in collecting our food donations from Tesco!
Grace used her baking skills to raise money for Foodbank by selling her delicious creations to friends and neighbours.
Thanks to Asda and their customers for donations, allowing us to buy supplies in bulk and also for donations from the asda community fund!
Also, thank you to Hardman’s Cleaning Services who kindly clean our warehouse and Crossing Point Centre for a reduced fee.
Thank you for keeping our centres spic and span for volunteers and clients alike!
