Harvest at Widnes Foodbank

From our Project Co-ordinator

As the nights draw in and the season begins to change, we begin to look towards Harvest.

Harvest is a busy period. for us all at Widnes Foodbank, not only with feeding our community and collecting donations but also a time for us to offer thanks and to show our gratitude to those that continue to support us even through their own difficult times.

Please hold us in your prayers as we approach the season and if you are looking to donate, please look at our shopping list for guidance on our shortages.

What's happening at Widnes Foodbank?

With the start of the new school year underway, and many schools hosting their own Harvest assemblies, we're launching our Harvest Appeal for 2021.

Our Harvest Appeal isn't just for local schools though - local individuals, groups, churches and organisations can join in too!

It's easy to get involved. Simply check out our special Harvest shopping list in the section below, and donate at a local collection point. If you're collecting in bulk as a group (such as a school or business) you are able to book a collection slot online for one of our drivers to visit and collect from your address.

More details about donating are available in the section below.
